Bachelor in Information Management at Technical University of Wroclaw Poland

The international programme offered by the Department of Computer Science and Management in the field of
study – Management and Marketing. This is a joint programme with the Technical University of Liberec in the
Czech Republic and University of Applied Sciences in Zittau/Görlitz in Germany.

The programme starts with a two-month preparatory course in Liberec. Semesters 1 and 2 will be based in Liberec, semesters 3 and 4 in Wrocław, semesters 5 and 6 in Zittau/Görlitz, and semester 7 in Wrocław. The
programme focuses on enterprise management, in particular on information processing, tools and methods
for information system designing, information collecting and exchange. After 6 semesters graduates receive
certificates from all universities involved. Upon completion of the last semester, graduates receive a BSc Degree
from Wrocław University of Technology.

This innovative postgraduate programme offers students important specialist qualifications in business administration and applied computer science as well as social skills, providing them with state-of-the-art competences in key issues and disciplines of business information systems.

Depending on your choice of study routes, you can gain a single degree or a joint degree.

The single degree “Master of Science in Business Information Systems” is awarded by the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.

The joint degree “Master of Science in International Business Systems, Major in International Business Informatics” is awarded on behalf of all partners of the Binnet consortium if at least one semester has been absolved at one of the partner universities. Grounds for selection of Major in Information Technology at Tampere Polytechnic

Grounds for selection
In addition to the Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from a university of applied sciences, the applicant must have at least three years of working experience in the related field after graduation from a university of applied sciences. Two years of work experience after receiving a vocational college diploma or a higher vocational diploma AND at least one year of work experience after receiving a degree from a university of applied sciences are also accepted. All three years of work experience must be in a relevant field.

The selection is based on the points gained from the preliminary assignment (maximum 50 points), the grade of the final thesis (maximum of 30 points) and work experience (maximum of 20 points). The maximum number of points is 100. The prerequisite for applying for the Master’s Degree programme (polytechnic) is at least three years of work experience after the completion of the Bachelor’s Degree. The applicants only receive points for work experience exceeding the three year period and the work experience must be from a related field. Two months of work experience from a related field yields one point for the applicant. 150 hours of part-time work experience equals 1 month. Work experience may be calculated up until the end of the application period.
