Admission Requirements

Fulfill general criteria for graduate admission
Applicants from foreign universities must submit Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores. These scores may be required from those whose undergraduate grade point average is less than 3.0/4.0 (B average).
Applicants whose native language is other than English must take the TOEFL examination; a score of at least 570 (paper-based), 230 (computer-based), or 88 (internet-based) is required.

Applicants with a lower TOEFL score may be admitted conditionally, but must take a prescribed program in English along with a reduced program course load.

Prerequisites
It is expected that students wishing to enter the master’s program will have a background in fundamental information technology concepts, including object-oriented programming, computer hardware and networking, and Web site design and multimedia concepts.

Students without the necessary background should complete the prerequisites before applying to the program. Bridge program courses are available to satisfy the prerequisites requirements.

Prerequisites
Students entering the MIT program need to have a basic knowledge of data structures. Statement of purpose
All completed applications will be reviewed at approximately ten days after the application deadline. If any of these items are missing or incomplete, the student will not be evaluated for acceptance into the program. Students will be notified via Email as soon as their decision has been made. Students whose materials are not submitted in time will be considered for acceptance into the next semester.
