The Mountain View College (MVC) Microsoft Certification Program began in 1999 as a program to train students to become entry level Microsoft network administrators. Over the years the program has grown to include two modern computer labs that employ the latest Microsoft technologies.
The certification program at MVC is sanctioned by Microsoft as an IT Academy. As an IT Academy all instructors have to meet a minimum requirement as a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). The instructors at MVC more than exceed the minimum requirements and are Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers (MCSE) as well as Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCT). Also, all instructors have degrees and many years experience working in the networking and computer areas.

Financial Aid
Connecting students with opportunities
Getting Started:
At Mount Saint Mary College, over 84% of our student who file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) receive financial aid.
Financial Aid varies from person to person, but the most common types are grants, scholarships, work-study, and student loans.
We’ve designed this website with your ease in mind. We’ll talk you through the steps, and answer any questions you may have.
Step 1: FAFSA 4caster:
This tool allows you to estimate your expected family contribution number, or EFC. Your EFC is what determines the types and award amounts in federal financial aid you are eligible to receive. We also use your EFC number to calculate MSMC need-based grants and scholarships. This is an estimating tool, only.
Step 2:
This is the official application website for the FAFSA form and FAFSA 4caster estimating tool. A FAFSA is required to award you federal and institutional need-based aid. You may complete your FAFSA anytime after January 1, 2009 for fall consideration. February 15 is our date of first priority freshmen awarding for most programs. Returning students should file the Renewal FAFSA no later than March 31.
Step 3:
At the end of your FAFSA application, you’ll see a link to your state grant website. If you are a New York State resident, clicking on the link will bring you to the New York State Higher Education Services website, where you can complete your TAP application for a state grant.
